Greg Cockerell

We love being a part of the Greater Texarkana area and surrounding communities. My heart is and has always been in this community, as I have had the good fortune of being born and raised here by two wonderful parents and the entire Texarkana community. Other than college and a brief insurance career in Dallas, my amazing family and I have called Texarkana home.

You might say my path of becoming a State Farm agent was predestined. My dad was a State Farm agent for 30 years and inspired me to follow this career path. Having my dad as my mentor, I knew early on that State Farm was where I needed to align my future goals.

I received a BSBA degree in Finance and Insurance from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Furthering my insurance knowledge, I obtained my Charter Life designation from The American College. I am proud to say I have been a State Farm Agent since 1990.

My team and I love calling this area home and serve with pleasure knowing wonderful people live here. We are licensed to operate in Texas and Arkansas and enjoy helping those from both states.

I have several passions, but I enjoy working for the benefit of children the most. I had the amazing opportunity of working with the youth in Texarkana for over 13 years as a volunteer coach in various sports. Currently, I volunteer for the Court Appointed Special Advocated (CASA), whose mission is helping abused and neglected children. When not working or volunteering, I can be found in the great outdoors perusing hunting, fishing, and attending sporting events.

The agency maintains professionally licensed team members who strive to give policyholders exceptional customer service and the upmost respect.
